Bad weather forecast will force Hjaltland to leave early

Forecasted bad weather will mean a much earlier sailing tomorrow by the NorthLink passenger ferry from Lerwick to Aberdeen.

The Hjaltland is expected to leave at 2pm instead of the scheduled 7pm, but her arrival into Aberdeen may be subject to delays, NorthLink said.

The northbound sailing tomorow by the Hrossey, meanwhile, will be delayed by five hours, only leaving Aberdeen at midnight instead of the scheduled 7pm.

She will be expected to arrive in Lerwick at around 2pm on Wednesday.
