WATCH: Lerwick girl Jennifer Sim on swapping the isles for Edinburgh

For some, the idea of tackling a law degree would be a big enough challenge. But not for Lerwick girl Jennifer Sim.

When she’s not holding down a part time job or killing it on the Edinburgh university badminton court, you’ll find her spending her spare time in rehearsals for her lead role in an upcoming play – spoken completely in German.

Jen’s busy life is enough to make anyone feel like a slacker (including your interviewer). Here The Shetland Times catches up with Jen to reminisce about her life in Shetland; talk about her future and ask her how she’s able to juggle all her activities.

This is the latest video in The Shetland Times‘ collaboration with media students at the University of the West of Scotland. As part of the Spaekin Shetland project with the university we’d like to know what features you’d like to see on shetlandtimes.co.uk. Leave a comment, or email [email protected]
