Monday’s ferry sailings likely to be disrupted

Ferries between Lerwick and Aberdeen are likely to face disruption on Monday, according to operator NorthLink.

Rough or very rough seas, as well as gales, are forecast and a yellow “be prepared” warning has been issued by the Met office.

NorthLink says further updates will follow as forecasts are updated.

Shetland Islands Council has also warned that inter-island ferries may be disrupted.
