Dangerous driver almost caused crash

A dangerous driver almost caused a crash near Lerwick last week.

Shetland Police said the near miss happened at around 9pm on Thursday on the A970 near to the observatory, south of the town.

A silver car was travelling north when a small, dark coloured vehicle reportedly pulled out of the observatory junction, nearly causing a crash.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Shetland Police quoting incident 3772.
