Man, 83, dies in quadbike accident

Police Scotland.

A man has died after a quadbike accident.

Police were called to reports of an incident near Sand Voe in the West Side at around 1.15pm today (Friday).

A force spokesperson said emergency services attended and an 83-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin are aware.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
