Some homes in Vidlin are still without power after a disruption to electricity supplies happened this morning (Tuesday).
Energy supplier SSEN were made aware of the power cut before 6am and sent an engineer to fix the problem.
SSEN said the outage was caused by a problem on its overhead network but hoped to have power back to all homes by 10am.
It said 12 homes were still affected by 9.20am.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
